Topper was my first 'real' show aussie, and is my doggie 'soulmate'. Always knowing what I'm thinking or feeling, and just how to make me feel better. His temperament is second to none.

Topper started his career in the ASCA showring. With several big BOBP wins, it was enough to qulaify him for the ASC of WA's Puppy of the Year Award. He then finished his Canadian Ch. but 9 months with several Group placings, Puppy Groups, and a Best Puppy in Show.

Topper finished his ASCA Championship just over 2 year old. I had kept him out for the 99 Nationals, where he placed 4th at a preshow in Open Blue, and basically placed 5th at the National (Oh! So close!).

He finished his AKC with limited showing, finishing with BOB and a Group 3

He was Specialed for a short time, winning 15 BOB's, 2 BOS, in 20 times shown, consistently defeating some of the top ranked specials.

With the knowledgable and experienced training of Jan Wesen, Topper quickly attained his Started Sheep and Duck titles.

Now, Topper is enjoying the retired life, and will always be my best bud :)
